A prequel show for the second lead of a stand-alone movie that's also a prequel for what's technically the fourth movie in a series of nine, and yet IT WORKS. And it's glorious.
As much as I don't like not knowing what happened, I actually appreciate that the show left some things unexplained, like Kino Loy's ultimate fate or Cassian's sister. It was better for the story overall. We don't even know what precisely happened to Ferrix after the first season, although I assume nothing good. But it still works.
It is a little wild to think that no only is Andor great, it honestly had no business being made and being as amazing as it was. I'm hoping it's success inspires Disney to take more chances on non-Skywalker related projects.
My awareness of pop culture started over 40 years ago, with Return of the Jedi.
I have not had this much fun since I watched that movie for the first time.
I am still coming down from the high of this show. I never realized I wanted or needed a SW show that spoke to me as an adult, and nothing but an adult. Yet here it is.
I now have about 10 tabs open of stuff to read, so thanks for that. :D
I almost did a second section for youtube videos, so it could have been worse…

Between the memes and the Gilroy / Cast interviews there’s still so much to read. Thanks for these links 😃
I know, there's so much out there. Every time I click on YouTube it seems like there's a new interview out there.

It really is just that good. I need to set aside a weekend, turn phones and computers off, and rewatch it.
