Haha, the toaster is definitely true. Gotta love a low-budget sci-fi show. I kid you not, look up a classic alien called the Chumblies and see how accurate you are.

I regularly wonder how much the universe would have changed if Ridley Scott had been allowed to turn his designs for the Daleks into reality.

Oh, hells yes the Doctor Who crack is true. The show, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, was famed for its inventiveness and attempts to keep budgets under control, but there were TIMES. (My favorite examples were at the beginning of Tom Baker’s run as The Doctor, including a scene involving a tank where the effects crew was obviously using an Action Man toy tank, and a not-insignificant number of costumes and monsters made of bubble wrap because that was still exotic in the UK at the time.)

The Rise of the Resistance attraction is loads of fun. The best part for me was being captured and walking through the First Order base with the other guests. The Disney employees were wearing appropriate costumes and (my favorite detail) acting rude to us.
