I loved your Galaxys Edge write up. So much I related to. What a great reflection on the experience.

Thank you. It was honestly one of the most fun things I’ve done in a long time.

They’re phasing out the Black Spire music? Awww. The collected score has been one hell of a soundtrack while writing St. Remedius installments.

Yeah, it’s too bad. Like I said, not surprising. But too bad.

This was amazing! I never got to go, but reading this was a second best option. Thanks for writing it!

No prob. It was truly an amazing trip.

We made it in November 2019 thanks to a work conference being hosted on the Disney World campus. Beat the pandemic, but also beat the opening of Rise of the Resistance by a few weeks as they delayed it until Mandalorian got released. Bummer to be sure, but I did get to inexplicably chest bump Magic Johnson at the conference's keyboard address so that made up for it.

Re: immersive experiences, have you been/heard of Space Dive in Detroit? It's worth it. Probably can't swing the trip this year, but come in 2027. I've never gone to the after hours that features live music.

That looks pretty cool. We had actually had a Detroit trip on the schedule this year for opening day but it’s not going to work. Space Dive might be something for next year where I just find a cheap flight and come up for a day.

I still have never been. It's killing me. Great write up!

I love that you tried to turn your wife in LMAO.

I mean, she knew the risks when she decided to put on a "Save The Empire" t-shirt. She's lucky Chewie didn't rip her arms off.

This is definitely one of the best of your newsletters that I have read. I didn't know about the "immersive experience" aspect of the park or else I would have talked to the characters walking around. However, I don't really remember seeing any of them. Either they weren't there (we went in the spring of 2022 and COVID was still "in the air" even though almost no one wore a mask) or I just wasn't paying attention. Oh well.

If that's the last time that I ever go to Disney World, I will be content. Disney World was a big past time for our family and I am glad that I got to go there one last time with my dad, the big Disney fanatic, before he passed away.
